I would say boredom hit more on people who hardly go out like you and me. It's so hard trying to kill boredom too but when one is able to find what works for them, that's fine.
Sometimes, I would keep thinking bad things and seeing myself as not fulfilling enough instead of being grateful - that's what boredom can do to one and it is important to quickly get out of it by engaging in some coping mechanisms to keep one sane.
