These days, no one is to be trusted but it doesn't stop us from helping those who are in need. If we decide to stop because we feel we cannot trust people to handle the funds, the poor and needy would suffer.

Hmm. We can't trust people easily but for that we can't stop helping others. We need to do our part and I believe that most of the time we will be able to help those people who deserve it.
