Recently, I've sort of developed some kinda hobby, one that I get to do every Sunday rather than just sit at home and do nothing. At first it had started with the idea of just taking a walk, thereby excersing a little bit, but then during those walks, I would occasionally stop at the school football field and just watch them play.
It didn't take long for my whole reason of leaving home on Sunday to change, it went from going to take a walk, to going to watch the guys play football. And although both produced the same result (as I still was taking a walk), the excitement about it changed. The idea of going to watch football was far more interesting.
And so, just like every Sunday, I had gotten dressed on today and began my walk to go watch the boys play football. When I got there, everything was as expected, the boys were sweating, running up and down the field while kicking the ball around. People gathered round the field as everyone cheered on their favorite team.
It was while I was looking around that I had spotted this pretty looking sports bike just standing right there with no one next to it. It felt like a sin just letting something as beautiful as that to be alone, so I had looked for the owner of the bike and asked for his permission, if I could ride the bike for some few minutes.

When I got the green light from the owner of the bike, I had happily taken it to the road. Mind you, it's been more than seven years since I last rode any kind of bicycle, not to talk of the sport one. So when I first climbed on this bike, my confidence was slightly above sixty percent.
I was a little bit nervous that I might not be as good as I used to be back in the day when I first learnt how to ride a bike. But because I wasn't going to be intimidated by something like that, I got on it anyway.
The first few push on the pedal was a bit shaky, almost as if I didn't know what I was doing and was going to fall off. Everyone was looking at me at this point and I knew that the last thing I wanted to do was embarrass myself by falling from this bike.
Luckily for me, I got balanced and everything went smoothly afterwards. I ended up riding the bike the whole time while the owner played football and by the time he was done, I had almost gone round the whole school.
It was fun while it lasted, but if only I knew what was to come next I probably wouldn't have gotten on the bike in the first place. Because the moment I got off the bike, I could no longer feel my legs, and now I'm limping back home.
Lol 🤣🤣🤣,I thought it was something else, but nevertheless,it must have been fun doing it after so many years.
Trust me when I say it was fun.. Brought back a lot of memories too.
