While I'm all for rural areas, or living in the small town max, there is something that changes when we are getting older... The one thing that I never cared about when I was young was the healthcare, the proximity to the hospital, or a health center...

So, I would say, a rural area, but relatively close to a health center, just in case... you never know if you will need it...

I completely agree with your points, and I would add one more on top of it... It is much more healthy to raise your children in rural areas than in big cities!
