Tipping as a Source of Encouragement

in Hive Learners5 days ago

Hi, friends!

I hope you are doing well this afternoon.

Tipping has become a motivational part of service in industries worldwide not as a form of happiness but as a form of encouragement that is beyond monetary value. In the many industries that want to maintain workers customers know how to tip their workers just to inspire workers to deliver exceptional service to the customers in an exceptional way.

I, who you want to be the CEO of my company, will offer to tip my workers and my customers for good services offered and received. The companies that are very active these days know or understand the secret of tipping. It's very good as a reward for motivation and encouragement. There are many things tipping can do in companies, homes, schools, hospitals, restaurants, and many other places.

I will share a story of how a young doctor in the federal hospital got a tip from me because of how caring he was towards my health condition. I was so happy that I met him, despite the condition I was in, he took me as his sister and sat me down for advice, and I asked him questions, which he answered to my satisfaction. I tipped with a small amount of transportation. Each time I went to see him, he would always ask about my health and how the drugs he gave me reacted to my body. I told him, it was fine and the drugs finished, but the pain persisted. The sweetest part of the young doctor was the response he gave, "I should also pray that I will be fine". I believed this one more than the drugs he gave me. I went back home, and I prayed, and it worked faster than the drugs I took. I went back to the hospital and met him with a tip on his hand. And I thank him for his words of encouragement.

However, tipping doesn't occur in the company's environment only but anywhere that feels to be tipped. At home, a mother or father can tip a child for doing well at school and also at home for doing house chores and being active all the time, and it will encourage that child to do more. My dad does this to me, especially when I washed his clothes and cooked his meals on my own; he would call me and give me money to get what I wanted to eat or drink, for helping him with some of the things he would have done. Out of excitement, I will go and buy malt and snaps and eat as a result or reward for my services to him as my father.

In restaurants, delicious meals are served and when customers come with excitement for treating them well, a tip will follow as they pay their bill.

This is my tipping culture when a remarkable service is being offered to me and within me, I would give out what I have just to encourage or motivate that person with such an offer. Tipping in my part comes as a free will from my heart, not when I am forced or commanded; no, it doesn't work like that.

These are my experiences about my tipping culture.

Those days my parents hardly tipped us for doing well in school and I envied friends that got that opportunity and gifts for doing well in school.
