SLEEPING IS IMPORTANT

Sleep plays a vital role in good health and well being throughout your life. the way you feel while you are awka depends in part on what happens while you are sleeping. during sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health.

When i was very young I did't understand the importance of sleep and it's benefits. I could remember that proud my mom will be like is time to take your nap, I will say mummy noooo am not feeling sleepy she will say u don't have to feel sleepy before you sleep then I and my brother will go inside the room and pretend to be sleeping once we noticed our mother is asleep we will just zoom out to play but at a point when we started growing we begin to understand the importance of sleep to our health.

In most of my reading about children and teens,sleep helps to support growth and development. getting inadequate sleep over time can raise your risk of chronic (long-term ) health problems, it can also affect how well you think,react,work,learn and get along with others.

You know an the type that love studying at night I can stay for hours without feeling sleepy just to make sure I finish up whatever am doing. but going through my studies shows me the risk and problems of not having enough sleep.

  • Sleep helps with learning and the formation of long-term memories, not getting enough sleep or enough high quality sleep can lead to problem focusing on tasks and thinking clearly, not taking enough sleep can affect your daily activities.

So it very important we take enough sleep getting a good night sleep is incredibly important to our health in fact is just as important as eating a balanced, nutrition diet.
