Hello everyone in this amazing community
I hope we are all enjoying ourselves in this yuletide.
This year has been filled with so many Bittersweet memories,
Business has been so thrilling so far,
Career wise too, many events have come around with a lot of unforgettable moments, starting from how I managed to start an online course, to how I made a very amazing comeback on sales after having a loss that I thought would eventually made me break down.
So let's start off with that career I started early this year.
I have been on the lookout for some skill sets to learn this year, trust me, it hasn't been easy for me to even settle for any one. Big thanks to my sister for really put in much efforts for me in getting a particular course that really paved some ways,or let me call it make the foundations I need to build some careers on.
So it's the year 2024, a year of the emergence of Tech skills and I.A implementations. I have been looking for a way to get started in tech, I already had a certificate in Social Media Management, also I learnt some basic Cyber security courses like ethical Hacking but those are just not my kind of niche, I honestly didn't put much efforts into giving my all to it. So at the long run I can't remember much of it again, I even learnt python programming, which was a waste of time for me, because I tried every possible best to really understand the terms, jargons and the processes but no matter how hard I tried to really comprehend it.
With a lot of desperation I gave up on anything programming and coding. I expressed my concern to my aunt who have always been a sweetheart and support. She then sends me some list of Skill set I can do even remotely, for me I had more interest in the ones that does not have much coding, this is because of my previous experience with python programming, I don't want to end up wasting time or resources again. I remember during that period my sister's husband was hosting a career platform, and he was teaching About SCRUM.
SCRUM is an agile method of project management that deals with Teamwork, accountability and iterative progress towards a well defined goal. I was able to learn the Course, understood everything I learnt, now I am a certified SCRUM MASTER,
This is one of the biggest highlights of the year for me.
In my Business, I had a shortage of #300,000 which happened in the month of September and October. I was very devastated about the loss, which I would say was my own making because honestly I was not careful enough with myself, I really learnt the hard way, but then just within the months of October and November , by God's Help I was able to recover back, more than 5 times of the Money, which was a very big Highlight for the year,
The impact of these two events is just that it made me grow resilience and keep working smart.
