Rural Areas are more peaceful

This week prompt is a very relatable one for me because I have been facing some decisions about moving to the Urban Areas for sometime now, Its a very tough decision for me, now that I really enjoy the rural side of Town. These days I have been kind of very busy, engaged in a lot of Activities , it even looks like 24 hours doesn't seems to be enough for each days spent, this is exactly what happened to me today. I stay in the Rural Part of Benue State, but I am very engaged in Business. Let's delve into the prompt.

An urban area can be defined as an human settlement with a high population density and an infrastructure of built environment.
The Urban Area has a lot of Complex building: factory, shops, companies, hospital, churches and a lot traders etc
Urban Settlement is usually very populated and majorly are the big towns and cities.

Rural area:
Rural Areas can be defined as places outside Urban Areas,
usually The term rural includes all population and territory outside urban areas.

So about Rural and Urban Areas, where would I love to be?

Honestly fate has made me love the Rural way of life, although there are a lot of shortcomings. Here is a real life experience, so I was in Lagos, a very busy place in Nigeria and Lagos is a very perfect representation of an Urban Area. Lagos has always been a very busy place, every one is on the go in Lagos, a place No single dull moments, people are actively acting and Reacting.

Back to my story, I was in Lagos, schooled in Lagos and finally I was to go for my Compulsory Youth services (NYSC). I selected state around the south western region and south eastern region of Nigeria hoping I would be posted to those big city but to the shocking suprise I was posted to Benue State, During the time in the NYSC camp we are waiting patiently for the place we would be posted to In Benue state. I was posted To a very rural part of the state. Although I was not happy but I just had to go and check the place out.

Reaching there it a rural Area filled with a lot thatched roof and extremely far distance out of town and City .
I was so unhappy about it, but after spending some months there I completely love it there.

In my Experience here are some advantages I enjoyed.

Serenity and peace
So one of the most wonderful experience was the peace and nature beauty all around, unlike when I was in Lagos where I get stressed up, even to transport from on place to another is so stressful and rather difficult task to do.
In Rural Areas there are little to no crime rates and the only issue I have been noticing are some small settlement fighting themselves because of land issues which the Government intervened on them.
Cost of Living is relatively low
Unlike people staying in the Town and Cities where the cost of living is high and prices of food is very high,but for Rural areas you get food very low and the cost of living is low.
Opportunity to start up a business
You can easily start up a business here in the rural areas and there are many different ways to earn a living.
This is exactly my experience, I had different opportunities to do business to my taste without the influence of pressure or unhealthy Competition from a lot of people doing the same thing like the Urban areas.

Setback of Rural Areas

Poor Amenities and Lack of Basic Infrastructure.
This has been one big issues, bad road, poor schools, abandoned projects, poor health care and many more.

Lack of Opportunities and Connection
There are some Job opportunities that might not be open around the Rural Area. You might likely not get connected and build relationships.

If you ask me again and again where I would love to stay I would pick rural areas, this is because I really value peace of Mind and Connection with nature and calm environment.
