Military life is sweet ehn... there is this undeniable respect that comes with that uniform. Just wear camoflague uniform and you have everyone's attention, and most especially, their respect.
Even the military school I attended gave me respect outside. We sometimes entered free rides, just for being children of the military. It was so sweet then. It is only that I did not go on to join the military afterwards.
There is a time some idiot was rude to my mother. He did so right in my presence. I so pissed and annoyed that IJ immediately wished I was in the military so I could order him to serve wonderful punishments. In fact, I was even (for a little while) determined to join the military, just to protect my mother from such embarassments.
It is only sad that everything in our country must be by connections; making it really hard for passionate people to join the military.
Just like what happened to me aswell, I so wish am part of the military, but God saved him.
It's really hard for passionate persons without connections to have their way into the military. May God help our country.
