We all love a fancy dinner for two with that one special person, candles lit in a dark place, a table for two, slightly cold air blowing towards both of you, nice table on separating you both as you sit to eat while you share diverse information about your self and enjoy both the environment and the moment.
Most people like going out to eat, while others do stay at home to fill their stomach with some sweet home made meals. I actually prefer to stay at home rather than fo out for food.
Waiters, though quite underatted, actually hardworking and they go out of their way to make sure that our orders is carried out without delay. Its quite amazing to see how hard they work to do such things.
Except waiters, tipping can be done anywhere and at anytime, depending on the individual in question. I actually like giving. There is this good feeling i feel anytime i give out something t somebody and they are happy. One of the many things i hate is when i can not help somebody in need. It pisses me off to the core. Though in our todays world, i am very careful and mindful of the people i render help to because they may turn and use the help you offered, against you. In my country, giving people money directly can be risky because they may take that money and submit it in a shrine so that your source of income will be deplited.
Few months ago, I and my cousin went out to have fun. On the way, a guy came up go me and asked me for some money, so, i reached into my pocket to get some change i have left. I gave him the money with a smile on my face, and i continued with my journey. After we left the guy, my coisin began to tell me how people use to take the money they go to a shrine to lock a persons destiny and stuffs. Though i don't believe in such things as i see it as superstitious beliefs.
In my own point of view, i think tipping is actually a great thing to do. Irrespective of how negative the human mind can be, it is important to go out of our way to give spare change to whoever is in need of it. It shows that we still have our human side intact.
People do feel entitled to another mans pocket, having a belief of; they must give me, its their resonsibility. However, according to Meek Mills, never count another mans pocket, thinking you deserve it. Tipping, from my perspective, is not something that should be made compulsory. The money is my own, and i choose to give it to whosoever i see fit.
Tipping should be a thing of choice, do it when you feel like doing it, and not when you are forced to do it. You don't force someone to bring out their hard earned money and give it to somebody all in the name of tipping.
