The good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful and the sweet, all are communicated through the news.

If I can not count any annoying thing that my parents do, changing the channel to NTA or AIT, anytime I'm watching an interesting movie or cartoon, is one of the annoying things they do. It pisses me off quite often, but welp, I can't do nothing.

Growing up as a kid, I found myself in the company of peers that love power rangers. We cared less about what was going on in the country (why will a child even care about the country?), all we spent our time doing, was; tear out pages from our books, so that, using our crayon, we will paint power rangers, while dragging to be the red or blue ranger.

Personally, I think that, the love for watching the news, or reading news papers, comes largely, with, people around you, and also, the advent of responsibilities hardships, or a major event, which may tend to subconsciously spark curiosity to know wether or not things are getting better, or harder. (Still a hypothesis though)

This actually is my case. I hated the news cause' I saw it to be an annoying old people thing, but then, I was wrong.

I am actually taking a walk while I write his post, and, coincidentally, I overheard two persons talking about how Buhari gave some convicted governors, presidential pardon. I'm just hearing this for the first time, and all I can say is; things are happening. I equally want to know more about the news, so, I'll have to hit up my search bar after this post. Haha.

Every now and then, my phone is always actively searching for one news or the other.

What happened?.how did it happen? Who did what and what did who? What's next step will our president take? Is the price of fuel getting better? Or should we keep saying thank God for life?
All these questions, and more, are what I found myself thinking about, which makes me to always want to know more about the happenings in my country and outside my country.

The fact that a news channel, always broadcast news, morning afternoon and night, does not actually mean that the source of their information is legit and it still doesn't mean that we should believe what hey say.

The matrix, I feel like the Tate brothers right now. Haha

There are times when one news station will report 5 killed and 10 injured, however, another news station will report a less number for the same incident. Seems like there is somebody that is controlling the information output, behind the scenes.

I don't actually believe in every thing I see on TV. Some of these informations are not accurate. Though some people claim that there are some TV stations that give accurate news, I still don't believe in it.

I believe that 40% of what I watch, are false.
TV stations can easily be threatened by "you know who," to not let out an information or to give a false information.

During the time when Boko Haram terrorized the country, Different TV stations have different things to report.

Some TV stations reported that one information, while other TV channels reported a totally different thing. It seemed like they were in a competition, may be lieing competition or something.

With all these, I began to have doubts about the legitimacy of the information that I was being fed.
What are these people doing? Do they have something to hide? If yes, what is it, if no, then why all these obvious lies?

I thought I was the only one, untill people began to complain about it.

I can't actually do anything to get these facts right. They have something to hide, and we can't force them to give us that information.

There may be somebody that is limiting the information they give out. These people, the matrix, have lots of power in the palm of their hands, and I can't do any thing but keep my doubts to myself.
My country is not good, so I don't want to fall victim of; "had I known."

When I have the power, I "may" probably do something about it,or better still, I may just keep everything to myself to avoid too many powerful enemies that may threaten the existence of my next generation.

It is unfortunate to know that you cannot trust the authorities and media in your country. If they can forge information and spread incorrect data, then they must be capable of doing anything.

A great possibility for a more dignified future is to invest heavily in children and educate them as early as possible so that they grow up in a community knowing the despair and that it will be in their hands to change the destiny of the nation.

your send line is a hundred percent true. children are the leaders of tomorrow, they've got the future on their palms, but they need to be invested in. not abuse them.
