El's Favourite Celebrity

We all want to be successful, to blow up and leave the tragic past behind us. We want the cheese (cash), the comfort, the fortune, the wealth, and we want to be more famous than Michael Jackson was, when he was alive.

Growing up in an African home, i was actually fearful of listening to my favourite artiste because, there was a conspiracy theory about the illuminaiti, that was spread throughout my area and beyond.

The conspiracy theory was that, most of these Artistes, mostly, the ones that are not Nigerians, are members of the illuminati. There was many horible things that was said about the illuminati, even the fact that if you listen to foreign hiphop, then you have a one way trip to hell without redemption. Another one is that; if you copy their hand signs, then the devil will come to your bed at night, while you sleep.

Upon growing up, i saw the lies in these words, so, i began to enjoy the songs i could not enjoy when i was younger. Now, i can blast Michael Jackson and Eminem on my heavy speakers, without feeling any fear.

My Favourite Celebrity

When i started listening to these songs, I began to hear the sensible lyrics, contained in the songs. Hiphop became my thing. My phone is filled wih different hiphop songs that i can't remove from repeat.
One artiste i realy love is;

Drum rolls please 🥁

The god of rap, in the person of Eminem. The G>O>A>T

I can talk about this rapper for one week straight without getting tired.

One major reason why i love Eminem is probably because of the fact that i can relate to most of his lyrics. Welp, except the ones where he dissed his mom. I really love my mom, and can never do something like that to my mother.

But then, his lyrics are sooo relateable. For the past few weeks, i have been listening to some of his albums none stop.

No cap, he is currently an old man, welp, not yet old though, but he still sings better than a 20 year old MGK. Have you listened to his latest album? Death of Slim Shady (Coup de grace)

I'd rather be 80 year old me than 20 year old you"
Eminem to MGK in killshot

His success story is one that is motivational and filled with many touching moments. When Dr Dre risked his career, just to make life a smooth bed to lie on, for Eminem.

I can go on to talk about Eminem, because he is truely the god of rap. The greatest of all times.

Some of his songs that i really like listening to are; Rock botom, Toy soldiers, Sing for the Moment, Not Afraid, Beautiful, The real Slim Shady, My Name is, and the list goes on and on and on without no stops or breaks inbetween.

I guess i have said a lot, i think i will have to rap (wrap) this post up by saying;

Eminem is the Greatest Of All Times.

Eminem is the GOAT indeed, I knew this but when I tried to do covers for some of his songs, I realised that he was more GOATed than I had even imagined.
And it's not just the speed, the message and sensibilities inside his rap is research-worthy.

True. His raps are always full of words with diverse meanings. Double and tripple, sometimes, quadrauple entendres.

Thank you for your comment.
