If I am to interview someone for a job, the kind of job concerned determines my strictness about the physical appearance of the job seeker

I think I agree with you on this
That being said, appropriate dressing gives self confidence and can even boost your moral while expressing yourself to the interviewer. And also our appearance place some value to us even before being interviewed
I feel it shouldn't be a luxury dress before we can appear smart for an interview and it shouldn't be indecent as well, otherwise we will be addressed and treated like we presented ourselves
