Its that time of the year everyone has been looking forward to. This year has been tough on most people. Having to go through life everyday at a time, juggling problems and trying to keep it all together isn’t something easy. And , getting to have some rest while also restrategising for the next year is a great step for us all.
Everyone loves the holidays. No work, just chilling and having fun. But,what we all don’t like it having to go back to work after a holiday. Even a day off would have us thinking we get to have the whole year off but we don’t. Now, you can imagine how it feels having to go back to work after weeks of being at home and having fun.
I didn’t think my holidays would be this good but so far, I’ve been having a lot of fun. Each day something comes up and I’m always down for it. Today, I’m at a friends birthday party and the funny thing is, I am the organiser. Who would have thought I’d hop onto something like this. I guess boredom has its way of doing things. Now, I don’t even wish to go back to the busy life again but that’s not a possibility. A lady needs to survive.
Slowly, my holidays are coming to end and I’d obviously have to go back to my usual life which is overwhelming at times. Truth is, I don’t wish to go back to my usual life but I don’t really have a choice at this juncture. From the looks of things, my holidays are set to end of the 3rd of January but I don’t plan to end my holidays then. I plan to add my own holidays to it so let’s say I would get back to the busy life on 7th of January. But then, let’s see how it goes.
Going back to my usual life is something I’m looking forward to and not looking forward to at the same time. It’s more of a love- hate situation but yeah, I do love what I do and in the coming year, I have so many big plans and goals to achieve. Looking back to the year 2024, it was a really productive one and I was able to tick a lot on my list. In the coming year, I hope to do better and to further add up to what I have been able to achieve so far. All these get me so hyped off for the new year and the working days ahead. But also thinking about how stressed out I would me makes me not want the new year to come.
Whatever happens, I’m just going to make sure to enjoy the remaining days of my holidays as much as I can and then I take it from there. I hope you’re looking forward to the end of your holidays. Don’t be like me. 😅

Holidays are only holidays because, thank God, we have occupations and we take a break from them. We wouldn't know what happiness was if there was no sadness, and that's what vacations are without work! Enjoy the rest of your holidays!

Holidays are usually interesting and it may make one have a mixed feeling of wanting to go back to work or not. However, we all would still go back to what we love doing apart from fun.
