I believe that fathers deserve to be granted paternity leave to help their wives after the arrival of a newborn child. They also go through a lot of stress at such times, and a few weeks away from work will really help them.

BTW, I am one of the few women who had their husband in the labour room with them, hehehe. 🤦‍♀️
