Well... actually it depends with which people your travelling also, the kind of people your travelling.

Some people like travelling solo, coz its less noisy and they like to be by themselves.

Although I agree with you that interesting varieties of people make things nice...

Like they do unusual things, that you never dared to do and that's inspiring etc, also they give you useful bits of information that is beneficial...

People connection is always beneficial...

You may make life long friends, or find life partners, or friends who will guide you when you travel again, for stay place etc...

Travel friends are always good, they generally open minded, adventurous and delightful.

I have travelled solo, to small places... its better than not travelling a tall, and there also you meet other people on the way and learn things, so its not bad...

a mix and match of solo traelling and group travelling is good I guess.

I also depends on the kind of person you are... I won't make lasting friendships on group travelling... but it provides safety!!

And solo travelling gives you challenges too... you don't need to cooperate and adhere to what others too and can be more free...

I like travelling and sometimes like to go with people, its safer and less anxiety for sure!!
