Honestly, I wasn't ready for what Hive had in store for me when I signed up an account to write and earn some coins. I was just excited for the fact that I would be able to do what I love (writing) and get paid for it, I mean, it's a beautiful opportunity, isn't it?
But what I didn't know was that, I would grow a following and those people will be an audience I'll have to keep being what they think I am when they hit the follow button.
Yes, I think I'm on the way to being an influencer on Hive. Of course, I can only be a big one when I have lots of Hive power to spread out and right now, I'm growing on to that direction no matter how slowly.
Now, let's come to being an influencer on web2 social media which I actually have a dream of becoming one someday. I bet you could guess now that I would gladly take the opportunity of being an Influencer if I am offered one. There are like a million reasons I want to become one and I've got fears of becoming one too.
Everything can not always go as planned, it's why I do have my fantasies alongside fears for when I become a real influencer. To be honest, I don't know if I have all it takes to be an influencer but I do know I have all it takes to be myself and make good use of it on camera.
I've always fantasized about making my voice heard in a huge crowd, and that would be after growing my voice to a level I don't find it difficult to sing some songs. I believe growing an influencer account on social media will create a long term forum for me to grow while I impact people with my voice (my songs).
From known facts about influencers, everything they put on camera for their viewers can be used for or against them and that is one fear that I am not letting overcome me to give up my fantasies of becoming one. Yes, I do have the fear but I think it's normal and I've seen influencers who overcome this fear over and over everyday as they continue to grow bigger.
Being an influencer is not an easy job just like any other job that brings in money so I don't expect it to be all rosy. I'll use it to develop myself through the critics wether constructive or not, impact others with what I can do best and use my influencial power for what's best.
In today's world, it's just as easy to become a popular influencer as it is easy to lose it after a mistake or act that doesn't conform to what your viewers or audience know you to be..
I'll agree the life of an influencer can be considered fake but that doesn't change the fact there are real ones out there and people are free to think whatever they want to. I want to be an influencer who is real to herself and stay that way.

To be an influencer on web 2 is quite easy. The only thing that may be difficult is finding a niche that resonates with you—something you cannot give up easily when people began to love and hate you.
I understand your fear of being criticized and hate on, but it is normal since people are different in character and personality, you can't impress everyone at the same time.
I know you can do anything if you put your mind to it.
