A Trio Of Intelligence - Girls Not Their Age

in Hive Learners4 months ago (edited)

These little cousins of mine came to mind when I saw the prompt, I never would have thought I'd be writing about them in this way. Although I've shared a lot about my experience with them but I don't think I've shared just how smart and intelligent these little girls are.

My aunt had three girls before she finally got a male child so they are four now and I'm yet to find out if the intelligence rubbed off on the boy too, which I'm sure it did. I had the opportunity to live a good number of months with these girls to have too much to say about them.

A trio of intelligence or a trio of smartness is what I always address them with when I want to talk about them to friends. And believe me, they fit so well with that title lol.

Just mere looking at them, you could bet they are smart beauties especially that one you see in the middle. My mum will call her grandma because she acts too mature for her age. And it's no difference case for the other two, the eldest does know her role as the eldest as she has been trained for that role and she is smart enough to play it.

I can still remember how little they were some years ago and how cute they sound when they say something so seriously but yet, so childish. They are a complete case of curiosity, some questions they will ask you, you'd be dumbfounded with no answer to give.

Have you ever learnt something new or better from a child of very small age?

They may had just done it or say it as a litter child who doesn't know what he or she is doing but you as the onlooker, you've learnt something you wouldn't have thought out on your own. These little girls taught me in different ways without them knowing.

Aside the responsibility of taking care of them when their mum is away or busy, their talks and way of answering questions I ask them teaches me a lot. I remember one time I caught them about to fight and I tasked the eldest one to try settling the fight herself.

Impressively, she sacrificed what she loved at that moment (a toy of hers) and her sister became happy and asked that they share it together. If I were to sort it out myself, I wouldn't have thought of her leaving her toy for the other but instead I'll find an alternative for the other to play with.

These girls don't act their age at all, they surprise me almost everything with their level of reasoning and smart acts all through the time I lived with them. Girls that get dress up from their wardrobe themselves? You need to see their fashion sense, like they know how to use the clothes their mum bought for them.

Whenever there is an occasion, the adults in the house hardly had to sort their clothes out because the little girls must have done that themselves already and surprisingly, the adults will have little or no work to do on them.

It's really impressive how smart and intelligent God made many kids especially nowadays children, it's a blessing that I pray God give to me as He blesses me with my children. I've seen and I know how proud parents are of kids like this, they are ones anyone would be proud to be around.

There's more to say about these little girls who don't act their age but I'll stop here. What do you say about my smart cousin sisters?

Images used are all mine.
