Yuletide season and moment is fast approaching, plans and budget is going on... Everybody is making plans on how to spend this moment, some might decide to spend with loved ones, some people with friends, some people with family and some people, just alone. Everybody have one thing or the other in their mind and they want to have complete or accomplished within this short period of time.

Making plans and sticking to read the two different things. Sometime ago I have planned to spend my Christmas and every moment that comes with it with my family, but my greatest surprise those plan change because of Life itself is unpredictable. Sometime we make plans and all of a sudden those plan we met change and we can't do anything about it. Nature have a way to reshape and reschedule some of our plans, even without taking permission from us.
This year is not different like other when he gets to me planning my Christmas period and how to spend it. Sometime ago last year I plan on spending my Christmas holiday with my family, well before the Year could run out all my plans change because of my profession and how things are being run. This year is not a different. I have planned to spend my holiday with my family and loved one. As a graduate!!! But in our Nigeria saying, "Who Graduate Help" being a graduate does not guarantee that I am going to spend my first Christmas holiday with my family.
Although maybe I join another program, still in nursing profession, and it is also encroaching with my holiday break. Currently posted to a clinical experience. And from the date schedule in the experience calendar, I don't think the experience will be coming to an end before 27th of December. This simply means that on 25th of December I might be at work l, caring for my patience.

Am I regretting spending this Christmas holiday with my patients in the hospital? No!!! They are the reason why I joined this compassionate profession, NURSING!! Although it can be stressed for sometime, making you doubt if you made the right decision, but believe m, with time you, get to appreciate the choice you made, and this is me in the picture.
I might not spend the Christmas holiday with my friends, loved ones or family, but I can spend some days with them during my off-time from work. But majorly I am spending My yuletide moment with my patients and client..
Although, I'm thinking of a way Best, to go about this and I believe from now to 18th of this month I will be able to come up with a best strategy and perfect way to celebrate this period with my patients and clients in the hospital. It is going to be my first, holiday with my patience and my clients as a graduate, 3 years ago I spend my 25th December Night, Christmas Night, with my patient's in the hospital, as a student Nurse, but this year, 2025, I will be celebrating the same but as a Registered Midwife.

I hope there are few patients in the hospital so you can have a quiet day and then enjoy yourself as you deserve!
You can make it as memorable as you want.😀
