The best this is to allow ourselves to take decisions and make choices by ourselves so that when the consequences comes forth we have ourselves to be blamed and not place the on others while we bear it.

The issue with this is a lot of people take actions and inevitably the consequences create a ripple effect on others, like someone who's drinking and driving, they might not just kill themselves but kill others too. This is the huge downside. I hope people can be more conscious, it solves a lot of issues.
