Hello everyone, I'm so delighted to share my experience in this week's edition, and bringing up a topic like this is a very magnanimous one because everyone sharing their experience on a particular event in their lifetime or a particular segregation makes me so curious to write about this and so combustible reading other people's posts and choice of writing.
One of my greatest and most magnificent experiences is visiting a waterfall in Ekiti State, the spring of both warm and cold. The first time I ever heard about this was when I was in primary school when our teacher, Mr. Udoh of blessed memories, told us about this spring. Some of us couldn't believe it because we said it's a fallacy that no water originating at the same point can be that magical.
So we challenged him; I personally said it to his face, "Sorry, sir, I'm not trying to be rude, but I think this is not possible." "Hahaha," the class burst into laughter. Then a lady stood up. Findi was an average girl in our class, although her voice was so inaudible. Mr. Udoh shouted, "Decorum!" Fendi suggested we go for an excursion there and see if it's real or a fallacy.
Instantly a united voice came from the audience, "Yes!" everyone shouted. So a day was fixed for the journey, and everyone was mandated to be present. We were asked to pay some levy, which everyone did gladly. Hurray! The long-awaited day is here, and everyone is set. I was in my highest endorphin hormone and very happy to see the long, fascinating story.
We took the start of the journey of about 5 hours inside our fully air-conditioned bus. It was about noon when we got to the park, and everyone alighted from the bus. It was a bright noon and a sunny one for that matter, so everyone was very active and strong. Then walked up to us was a security guard assigned to us to show us around and guard us from any danger. We started from the zoo section, where we saw wild animals, birds, and snakes of different breeds. We weren't so calm to see the fiction.

Then suddenly a pupil broke the silence, "Sir, can you show us the warm and cold springs?" Then he smiled and pointed out a direction and said, "over there." There was a bridge-like structure made with rope; we must cross over to get to the other side of the spring. We were so terrified crossing it, but at last we did. So we ran to the warm stream as said, so it was so warm, and significantly, the pasture was so admiring going to the cold side of the water.
It was exactly as explained, so we fetched a little portion of water out from both sides of the water, cold and warm, and shockingly, there was a difference of about 20 degrees Celsius. All we could say was, "Mr. Udoh, thank you.". With a smile on our face, we swam in the water with a life protective jacket, and under supervision, "it's getting late," Mr. Udoh said. We weren't happy leaving the place, but we have to return back to school so as to tell everyone about the story.
So I would say anytime you come visiting Nigeria as a tourist, the Ekiti waterfall is a must-see tourist center you should go to because of the beautiful creatures there, the grass trees, and most especially the warm and cold springs. I promise you, you are going to love it.
Thank you for reading through, and have a nice day, I remain @marynn.
