Honestly, you guys government are trying oo...here in Nigeria, dey care less about the welfare of her people.
Planting veggies will be an added advantage if sudden lockdown should happen...I already planted some in my house.

you have some good strategies to deal with the lock period if it does happen again, by planting some vegetables I think it's a good idea we will never kebab food stocks as long as we can't go anywhere
With a good government who are willing and ready to supply basic needs I think the heat of staying indoors won't be felt much by her citizens. In some countries, people we prevented from going out yet nothing was given to anybody, can you imagine being at home for the whole week without going to work and yet no one is ready to make supplies available for you, won't you die of hunger? In my place many couldn't stick to the lockdown for long because they had no food and the government was not doing anything about it.
I love the suggestion you made for earning a living during any lockdown. I wish we would take our time and look into it, there are many ways we can earn a living even while at home, we only have to think outside the box , be strategic and creative .
The last lockdown was very difficult because we weren't prepared for it and many people lost their jobs. But if another lockdown happens, we will be better prepared for it and your idea on how to avoid poverty during a lockdown makes a lot of sense; everyone should plant crops at home
