Not the most wonderful way to discover Hive though - sorry for your experience with the scammer. Unfortunately, like most monetized sites, we've had many instances of this happening, but fortunately the community has gotten better at spotting & stopping them.

One of the ways we try to do this is by having content creators with established social media accounts verify by adding the word, "Hive" to one of their bios, or otherwise show that they're aware of the Hive account. For instance, you could either add "Hive" to your Twitter bio (you can delete it after it's been confirmed), or your profile link, or even just tweet out this post. Once you've done it, if you could comment & tag me so I can check, I can then complete the verification process for you.

It would also be awesome if you could do more of an introduction post, so our community can get to know you better. For information on how to write an intro post, please check out the SELF INTRODUCTION section of the post 3 things Newbies should do in their first week on Hive.

Please be aware that Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog (although as a read.cash user, I'm sure you're already aware), so it is important not to include content that you don't own without sources (and it shouldn't exceed 50% of the post).
