Holidays are always one of the days I enjoyed the most as it offers me the opportunity to explore and sometimes refresh myself. So my best holiday experience as to be when I and a few friends of mine planned to visit the Erin Ijesha waterfall in Osun state. The whole preparation took less than a month but the experience lingers on even to this day.
we were seven in number planned the event and also attended the waterfall at Osun state and nobody stayed at Osun. Although we have three of the people staying at Ondo town and Akure respectively, one of us resides at Ilorin, one at Ibadan. one at ijebu ode, and there was me who came from Lagos.
Before the d-day, I camped at my friend's place in Ondo town as he will be driving us to the Erin waterfall. So the visit was also like a road trip as we played music, gisted and also talked about old times. On getting to the waterfall, we met a lot of people there but the waterfall has a lot of room to contain everyone that came.
We along with my friends wall to step three of the waterfall before camping there. we played under the water, drank alcohol, danced (Brough a loudspeaker from home) and ate (we cooked from home). It was a fun day and a memorable one. The visit to the Erin waterfall ranks high among my best holiday experience ever.
While the worst holiday ever happened in December 2021 as my company did not close for the year until 27th as we worked through the holiday. This period led to spending the holiday alone as my friends have gone for our yearly vacation during holidays. I was lonely, sad, and unmotivated to do anything during the holidays.
one thing I learned from these two events is that being around your friends during the holiday will always lighten up your mood and you will be happy more. Being among friends who genuinely care about you is just the right motivation needed to over the world.

Erinjesha waterfall! I've been there once, that was in 2011. I understand the kinda fun you can have in such a place. Such a nice ambience to hang out with friends.

And yeah we all have bad days and good days. We have to be prepared for both. Our friend play a great role in our lives.

Events like this one that is done with friends are always fun and memorable, I can see why it's your best holiday, the way you narrated the whole trip shows it was very fun
