So, last week Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to come to an end. We are currently on our first topic for this week which is, “FROM FICTION TO LIFE”.

But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last one which was “PRESSURE”. This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about the pressures they face in life. The different kind of pressures that comes from different areas of life and the need to deal with each one of them.

We got to see how members managed to handle these issues and come out on top. It can be quite difficult to be calm through all the issues of life. But many of us still manage to fight on and stay on top. It was an intriguing topic indeed.

For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w48e3 tags. And with the number of wonderful posts out there it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. This author told us about how pressure could get so bad, pushing a person into depression. He told us about how he had tried to get a job with his undergraduate degree and how frustrating it had been for him. And in the end, he had to open up his own business.

This author told us about the pressure she had faced while in school. The pressure of being broke could cause a person to make costly mistakes. But she let us know that no matter how much the pressure is, we are responsible for how we react to it. We get to decide what to do about it, and that way we would either reap the benefits or suffer the consequences.

PEER PRESSURE: LOOK AT WHAT YOUR MATES ARE DOING by @abdul-qudus

For this author, pressure is coming from everywhere. From bills to pay and responsibilities to shoulder. And then we have unhealthy competition with friends or faceless people on social media. It is a crazy world out there, and we have to be careful not to get swept away in the tide.
