Hello everyone, how are you doing today? Hope you are having a great time. This will be Week 191, Edition 03 of our Weekly Featured Content.

So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun that we did not want it to end. We are currently on the third topic for this week, which is “THE SWIMMER”.
But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic, which was “A LITTLE CHARITY”.
This topic was geared toward each member of the community, telling us about their thoughts on charity and how steps could be taken to ensure that the money they donated was actually being used for the purposes they were donated. With the way many people use NGOs as a means to scam people, it pays to be extra vigilant before donating money.
We got to see how people took proper care to ensure that they didn’t get scammed by greedy people. They only prioritised organizations that were transparent with their dealings, showing that every penny that was given was used to do exactly what it was collected for. This way, the people will be motivated to give even more. It was an enlightening topic, indeed.
For this topic, we went through every entry post, and that is every post with the #hl-exclusive & #hl-w191e2; tag. And with the number of wonderful posts out there, it was quite difficult to make a selection. But eventually, we did just that. And so, the posts that will be featured not just for their exceptional content, but also for their level of engagement with other authors, will be listed below.

Featured Contents
HANDS-ON HELPING: WHY CHARITY STARTS AT HOME AND YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD by @idksamad78699
This author told us that he’s always been one to doubt if the monies donated for specific purposes always ended up being used for the very thing they were donated. He doesn’t trust any form of charity that exists on the internet due to how easily anything at all can be faked on it. He finds it easier to be more charitable in public when he sees the needy around his neighborhood. One doesn’t need to go very far when they want to help, just looking around them will tell them what they need to do.
CHARITY OR PERFORMANCE by @justfavour
For this author, he told us that despite how bad things are going all over the world, people still find a reason to be charitable. He talked about how many people simply take advantage of the charity, using it for their selfish interests while the intended recipients end up suffering as a result. Many times, people can be cruel when it comes to such things.
MY FELINE WAY OF GIVING DONATIONS by @misticogama
For this author, she talked about the challenges that NGOs could face when given donations, which could explain certain issues. She’s not one to do a lot of donations, and when she does do it, she only gives according to her means. And seeing that the fund she put in gets to be used for what it was intended always makes her happy.
All of the above contents were supported by our official curation account lazy-panda with an extra amount. The first 3 authors will receive 100 ECENCY Points [ Sponsored By Ecency Team (@melinda010100) ] and 1 $PANDAMINER each as a reward next Monday. These posts were selected because of their special attention to detail and how they followed the topic. There were a lot of good ones out there, but we just could not pick them all.
But then, we have some honorable mentions listed below:

These are posts that were also found to be quite exceptional.
