Hello everyone, hope you all are doing great? Welcome once again to the Hive Learners Creative Sunday Initiative, and we are wishing you all a happy new month.

As we mentioned in our previous posts we are going to give detailed guidelines on the type of content that we would be accepted for the Creative Sunday. So, this is going to be our second post regarding rules & guidelines of Creative Sunday initiative. We are going to cover rules & guidelines of Collages, Memes & Poems today. So, it would be advisable for you to read through to the very end.

COLLAGES

This is a form of art creation that involves the assembling of different art forms, most specifically visual arts and this gives rise to a whole new art altogether. There are a few genres of collage, which include the photo, fabric, and decoupage. There is also digital collage art, where we make use of computers and photo-editing software. For this initiative though, we would be working mostly with digital collage.

With a dose of creativity, different artworks can be created, from already existing art. You can be able to pass across a message and you would be certain the audience would get it in one glance. So feel free to spread your boundaries and give it your best shot. We are here to be wowed by your creativity.

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR COLLAGE

1. Must write at least 300 words while making the content.

2. You must include separate sections like Software/Application , Internal Steps & Final Look.

3. Minimum 6 Steps (Photos) of the whole process (including internal steps & final look)

4. Must use necessary images/artworks from copyright free websites to make collage. And you will have to source each of the used photos properly

MEMES

Memes can only be found on the internet, and that is the only way it spreads especially through social media platforms. It could be an image with a short text that should be comical. There are also videos and gifs that are memes as well. You just make use of the ones that catch your fancy the most.

It is also a means of communication. While not losing its humor, it also serves to pass across a message that is important to the creator that people must hear. And as it spreads, due to its nature, more and more people get to read it.

When it comes to memes, you can go all out. One picture alone can pass across a thousand messages, it is the job of the text to direct the mind of the readers to the message you want. And you can decide what message you want to pass across. As always, do not limit yourself, spread out your wings and fly to the high heavens.

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR MEMES

1. You will have write at least 300 words while making the content.

2. You'll have to share at least 5 memes in that post

3. You can use templates to make memes from this site:- https://imgflip.com/memegenerator
   We will accept this only site for memes, also, you must provide the source of meme templates.

4. There should have description/background story/explanation containing at least 50 words under each meme.

Poetry

When it comes to poetry, it comes to a different kind of creativity. You get to pass your message with a beautiful array of words. The words do not all have to rhyme, but there must be a rhythm to it that will be obvious to the readers.

Anyone at all can write poetry, it is not for select individuals. You can bless us with your words, it will be our utmost pleasure.

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR POETRY

1. Must write at least 300 words while making the content

2. The poem should contain at least 150 words

3. You must write your inner thoughts that inspired you to write this poem. Also, a short summary/explanation of the poem will be appreciated.

GENERAL RULES FOR PARTICIPATION

1.   Only one creative post per sunday for each member. Sending in more than one entry will cancel out everything.
   

2.   You must use the tag #creative-Sunday as your first tag.
   

3.   Plagiarism of any sort will not be condoned and will be swiftly acted upon.
   

4.   The Creative Sunday starts at 00:00 and ends at 23:59 (according to your local time) on that same Sunday. Posts before and after that timeframe will not be considered.
   

5.   You have to be a verified member to take part in this.
   

Please remember that it is important to follow each one of these rules in order to avoid your post getting muted or you getting disqualified.

As you already know, the Creative Sunday Initiative will officially kick off on the 3rd of July (Technically From Today). We are encouraging you all to take part and show us your creative sides, you might be teaching someone a thing or two. After all, that is why Nature blessed us with these gifts so that we could bless the world with them.
