Greetings!
Christmas is finally here, and the joy is full as usual. Everyone is feeling it because the environment and the air are all about Christmas. My siblings from different corners have been calling to know when I'll be visiting home, and it's all fun pulling the game of telling them there’s no fixed date yet. I love to appear unexpectedly. Just yesterday, a cousin we hadn’t talked to for a very long time messaged me on Facebook all the way from Switzerland asking for my dad's number. It’s such joy hearing from him and knowing that he’s out of the country. These moments are the true joy of Christmas for me—getting to know that the family is well and happy.
How is it going at my end?
Like I always say, family is a big priority for me. I’ve settled my heart by sending some financial support home, and that’s the biggest joy for me. Let them enjoy until I visit home—if I don’t end up changing my mind about traveling. Lol.
Something happened:
Late last week, a kind of airdrop started trending. At first, I didn’t want to join, especially with the way people were complaining about how tough it was. But after a while, I decided to give it a shot. I did it sluggishly, not expecting much, but miraculously, I got selected. I received tokens worth $26, and the first thing that came to my mind was to buy a power bank to add to the ones I already have. I just don’t want to experience excessive battery low this season, especially with the fact that electricity is so scarce in my area. We mainly depend on generators, which consume a lot of fuel, and fuel is very costly.
Buying this power bank feels like a Christmas gift to myself because now I can stay two days straight without complaining about low battery or burning costly fuel to charge my phone if public electricity doesn’t come. It's a 33000mah powerbank.
My plan:
If all goes well, I plan to travel home after Christmas Day, maybe between the 27th and 29th, to spend time with family. Over here in the city where I reside, Christmas is mainly celebrated in a low-key manner, and it’s worse for people who have no families to celebrate with. Although I have some relatives who usually want me to come around that day to have fun with them, after that, everyone stays indoors. The roads become very dry, and nothing much happens. Me too, I want to leave this place for them and go to my village to enjoy the best of the season, where everywhere will be filled with people, noise here and there, and one will end up begging for calmness to sleep.
Have I bought my Christmas clothes?
I wanted to buy some clothing, but I prioritized the power bank first. So now, I’m gathering funds to buy an outfit. No, actually, it’s a pair of shoes I want to buy. Maybe Santa Claus could come across this and decide to tip me for the shoes.
Thanks for reading!

Hehe, the idea of showing up unexpectedly is something I like, though I wouldn't be able to pull it off as we usually go home together.
Boss, how many power banks do U need? I don't even have one🥲
Happy Celebrations 🥳🥳
I could have laughed at you for having like 3 power bank if I haven't experienced this no light thing.
So, something like that came up and you didn't tell me.
See, why I said you chose to be annoying this year.
Big guy wants to land home as a surprise after Christmas.
Enjoy
Thank God you're now experiencing a bit of our lifestyle. E choke!😅
When did you start hustling online? We once talked about this and it's not your kind of thing. By the way, this one that I did required kyc and I know you're among those that are skeptical of running kyc anyhow 😅
Thank you for stopping by
Okay oo
You are welcome
Hahaha. I love surprise visit too but sometimes it doesn't go well especially when you are so hungry and they didn't include your food to the ones being prepared. Lol
Congratulations on your power bank. That will serve you well. Good one. When you finally decide to travel home, enjoy Christmas with your family.
It's the hunger for me.
In such a season like this, food is always ready at home...unless non festive season 😅
Thank you for the congratulations 🤩
You are welcome 😊
