One of the best way to develop oneself is via writing and not just writing or copying from somewhere but an actual writing. That is, been an author or the author of what you write.

Growing up and having to make compositions about so many things, especially in the primary school and secondary respectively is without doubt the actual introduction of everyone to writing.

Some people's writing even started when they tried to defend themselves with a lie they concoctioned in their mind. This statement most assuredly suggests to us that writing begins in the mind. I say this to say that " if you do not have a mind to think, you may never be able to write anything or if you are too busy to think, it will be too boring to you trying to write anything at all no matter how small it may be.

I have come to discover that writing is a conversation. Just as we know that conversation is not unidirectional but bi-directional, that is, it must involve two or more people. Well, that is true but may not be true in regards to writing. Writing can be unidirectional in the sense that it can be intra personal, a soliloquy or talking to oneself in the mind. To be able to write, one must be able to talk to himself which is an activity that happens in the mind ( the center for emotions, thought, happiness, anger, anxiety, etc).

Therefore, to me, writing is the best way I talk to and with myself. This is because while I am writing, I tend to ask questions and also search for correct answers and sometimes I find myself smiling and even laughing. By this, my mental and emotional health is enhanced and my thinking faculty and intelligence quotient Sparks up.

Writing is also a way to develop an high intelligence quotient which is contrary to the claim that intelligence quotient is developed by reading. Well, it could be but based on my years of writing, I have personally discovered this truth that it starts with oneself. I came up with a philosophy, if you can't think, you may not be able to write any reasonable thing and if you can't write, reading would be the most difficult thing for you and the resulting consequence of that is a very low intelligence quotient. This is why I like to just write. I mean I write a lot. Sometimes, up to about ten pages per day. Writing has now become an hobby for me, that some people's notion about me is that I wrote too much.

Conclusively, writing has helped me in documenting facts and events. There are some studies and meditations I have had in past years and documented without even knowing. Sometimes when I just pick up some of these patchments to go through, I discover things that I never even thought I wrote with my hands. It's now a way to preserve history and knowledge for me. Even the Bible is a documentary by people. I write so well in church for example and even other events that are enlightening, like seminars.

I have discovered that to preserve knowledge for generations and generations ahead, you have to write. This is why I place more priority on writing than mere knowledge without preservation. Place a template for the generations yet unborn.

You would discover that the documents we have today are all men's thought and WRITINGS. That was the only thing they could offer this generation. If we are going to Live in the future, we must learn to write. The is my thought and the more reason I write.
