A rebranding to winning

Like every race, there are stages of locomotion that could span from a point of high motivation to that of low. Yet, there are times when one has to dust off his shoes and pick up from where he or she must have stopped. Hive blockchain remains a peculiar world where everyday living can be brought to a community of like-mindedness.

The year 2024 overall experience in Hive was not particularly as I wished, partly because of not having to put too much strain on my health but more recently, the pursuit of additional academic qualifications. Rather than reminiscing on periods of high activity, the new year 2025 heralds a period where I have dusted off my shoes and picked up where I stopped to push harder.

I met a friend recently and discussed how I juxtapose many responsibilities (multitask) daily only to have little time to rest. Though I seemed like a champion, I realized how deficient I have been in blogging, making me wonder if I still know how to articulate my words into texts. But writing for me is a passion, even though it requires significant cognitive effort, especially if it is to be worthwhile. Yet, amidst the many responsibilities life throws at us, it is vital to keep track with one's passion, especially to keep the flame burning.

The seemingly new year is fast becoming regular and routine. My topmost communities in Hive remain #hivelearners, #inkwell, and #leofinance. Thus, my plan is to make a quality post at least once daily in any of the aforementioned. Of course, that would be the minimum, and whenever I have the allowance of making more than that, I would gladly do so. Beyond making posts in my topmost communities, I would look out for some other interesting communities to share my thoughts with also.

And importantly, I would rekindle my engagement with friends on Hive, even though a significant number of them have become off-chain friends, which I appreciate Hive for. Meaningful engagement with authors gives a sense of warmth and value to both the author and the reader. So yes, I would gladly give my shorts at engaging meaningfully.

I wish I could say I would have achieved specific targets on Hive, but for certainty, it would be improving my reputation and having built my layer one and two tokens. Hive power remains the choice token I hope to stack up beyond 5000 HP, and for Leo tokens, which have won my heart for some time, I would have staked a few thousand of them.

Slow and steady wins the race. I have actually tried fast and furious, and rather than win-win, it was a win-lose for me. So, keeping my eyes on my set goals would be a priority for me. Funny that I find time for off-chain activities, and I believe I can spare thirty minutes to an hour daily to have a meaningful interaction on the Hive blockchain. And I stopped monthly power-up, but I'll surely resume it from this year, no matter how little it is. Threading on #inleo remains one other way to earn a few Leo tokens, which I hope to be more intentional about.

I guess the new year is bringing an excitement in me to continue blogging, but I believe with consistency and quality engagement, I would confidently be proud of myself at the end of the year.
