Hello everyone, I welcome you to my blog.
Indeed, it is one thing to have a goal. But then, it is a different thing entirely to actually achieve that goal. Everyday of our lives, we make plans on how to go about our day, and how to solve the problems that surrounds us. At the end of the day, the question would be, "were the plans we had made successful or not?". If you're lucky enough, you might go through with the plans. And if you're unlucky, you might go through with some, and in some cases, none of the plans might even work out. But then, it is important to note that failing doesn't mean we'll give up and stop making plans. There's a saying that a person without a plan, is like a traveler without a map, and in the end, he might end up losing his way.
Making a plan is the same thing as setting a target. You make up your mind to achieve or do certain things, and despite the struggles that you might face on the way, you'll strive to see that you achieve some of this set targets, if not all. And if you're unlucky, you do not just give up on the whole thing. Instead, you sit back, evaluate the methods you had applied, note the errors you had, and re-strategize your plans, to see that this particular goal is achieved in the end.
In my case, this year was really an eventful one for me. It came with a lot of responsibilities and unforseen circumstances. At the beginning of the year, I set a target on the list of things I wanted to achieve before the year runs by. One of which was to secure a contract with a writing platform. There were other set targets, and truth be told, I accomplished most of them, including getting a contract with a writing platform. It wasn't easy. There were too many stumbling blocks. There were times when I thought that it was better to give up because it felt like I had no fight left in me, but somehow I managed to pull through.
But with the year almost at its end, there are still some set goals that I have not been able to achieve. Goals like completing a novel on the contracted platform. Looking at the number of days remaining for the year to finish, I doubt that I might be able to achieve this very goal. And because of that, I've decided to push it to next year. When planning for 2026, it will be included in the targets, and hopefully, it will be achieved in no distant time.
As humans, we should always plan our lives. There might be no guarantee that our plans will work, but then, these plans will keep you motivated to keep trying even when it feels like we're failing.

Merry Christmas in advance!!!
And that's good that at least our goals and plans inspire us to work for getting these goals 😉

Life is never short of challenges but despite that, we must also try to appreciate the things we were able to get done within the time frame because it could have been worse but yet you still manage to get some of your plans done. So you deserve to be applauded.
You're right
We all deserve an applause for achieving some of the things we set out to achieve
