So, We are here again on another Sunday, It's a day where we can do some creative tasks and share them with our Hive family.
This is a traditional dish, that is cooked with a lot of hard work, It's not cooked regularly, we cook it after a month or two when our family members are getting together or someone from the family asks for it.
Ingredients
- Half Kg Gram Flour
- 300 gram yoghurt.
- Salt ( as per taste )
- 3 TableSpoon Red Chilli powder.
- 1 TableSpoon Turmeric powder
- 2 TableSpoon Cumin Powder
- 2 tablespoons dry coriander Powder.
- 1 Table Spoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves.
- 1 TableSpoon Dry mint
- 3 Onions
- 2 Potatoes
- 2 Tomatoes paste
- 1 TableSpoon Ginger Garlic paste.
- 1 Tablespoon Green Chilli crushed.
- 3 TableSpoon Spinach.
- 2 TableSpoon Green Coriander Leaves.
- 1/2 TeaSpoon Baking Powder
- Oil For frying
- 4-5 Curry leaves.
- 4-5 round red chillies.
- 3 Tablespoon Garlic paste.
Cooking Procedure
This is a three-step process, first, we will cook Gram flour Curry, and in the second step we will fry Gram Flour fritters & The 3rd step will include Tempering or seasoning.
1st Step
We will take a Juicer and we will add yoghurt in it.
take two cups of gram flour.
Now we will add gram flour in the juicer machine.
we will add a small amount of water to the juicer and we will blend yoghurt and gram flour.
now we will chop onions.
take oil in the cooking pan.
we will add chopped onions to the cooking pan.
Fry the onions for some time probably 3-5 minutes.
Add garlic paste to the cooking pan.
take the tomatoes and green chilli and make their paste.
add this tomato chilli paste to the cooking pot.
Now take the dry spices
Add dry spices to the cooking pot.
Cook for 4-5 minutes.
Now add yoghurt, and gram flour paste we made in juicer to the cooking pot.
add some water.
Now keep it for almost 2 hours on a light flame.
Now we will move towards 2nd step, which is frying gram flour fritters.
2nd Step
we will take onions and we will chop them.
We will cut the potatoes into small pieces as shown in the image below.
now we will cut the green Coriander Leaves.
we will add gram four to the bowl.
after adding gram flour, we will add baking soda.
add dry spices.
add water to the bowl too.
Mix our material properly.
Now we will fry fritters in the oil.
we will fritters in the Gram Flour Curry we made earlier.
Now we will move towards our 3rd step which is tempering or seasoning.
3rd Step.
We will put the oil in the pan we will add the tempering ingredients to the cooking pan and fry it.
after frying it for some time, we will pour it into the Curry and mix it. It will add a unique taste to our dish.
