Hey Everyone, I hope you are all fine and doing great. This post is my entry for the weekly featured content in the #Hivelearners community. Today's topic to write about is A Weak Point
No matter how strong a person is, they have some weakness, and because of that weakness, they often find themselves in situations where they get angry at themselves. But despite their best efforts, they can't overcome that weakness. They end up making such mistakes in life that they could never have imagined.
That one weak point dominates their personality, allowing others to take advantage of them.
I am of a strong calibre, but despite that, I have one weakness: I trust people very quickly. Because of this, I've been deceived by many in my life. That betrayal has come in the form of broken trust and people not returning the money they borrowed from me.
A friend of mine who required money came to me and asked for a loan. The reason he gave seemed genuine, and I couldn’t refuse him, even if I wanted to. He promised to return the money within six months, so I gave it to him
As we had agreed, I didn’t ask him for the money during the first six months. But when the time passed, I asked for the money, and unfortunately, he didn’t return it. I stayed quiet and let some more time pass. When I asked him again, he still didn’t give me a proper response. It has been 2.5 years, and that friend still hasn’t returned my money.
I’ve stopped asking him for the money now because I don’t like repeatedly asking for it. It hurts both his self-respect and mine. Now, I just pray that he returns the money on his own.
If you have this same weakness as I do, try to control it and work on overcoming it. Otherwise, you might end up regretting it like I do. I hope you'll take this advice and protect yourself from this trouble.

I hope the money is not that much. I use to tell people something, do not borrow people what you know you can't let go of. Because there is 95% chance that they won't return it.
What I do is, if I know that I won't be happy to forget about it if you don't return it, I'll tell you that I don't have that amount at the moment, nevertheless I'll give the person a small amount of money to support whatever he or she finds to add. Yes I'll give, not borrow, but it will be an amount that I can let go of.
This is because it is easy to borrow money but not easy to return it. Some of the rich dead guys now, were assassinated while they were trying to forcefully have their money back from whoever borrowed it

I don’t know if that’s a weakness too. I don’t think I can trust someone that fast and before I’ll borrow anyone money, the person has to pass the criteria I set. I won’t tell the person but I know if the person pass

I was in your shoes, I've been hurt too many times because I trust easily, I don't anymore, it's my reality and it gives me more peace
My friend, always remember one thing in life that one should not trust anyone too soon. Many people come in our life and we think that they are trustworthy but it is not always so because many times they come just to use us and not for anything else. One should not trust anyone except his blood relations. If you have been with a person for a long time and you feel that he is trustworthy then only you should trust him with open eyes otherwise today's world is selfish and thinks only about benefits.
I'm not sure if I'm the kind that trust easily or not but I do know I've learnt from a mistake of borrowing too much to a person. I'd rather give or lend a little I can afford to lose in case the person never pays back.
Sorry about your experience, I hope he pays back someday. At least, now you know his attitude when he owes you.
I can remember what you said about your friend once. To be honest, trusting others is not a weakness but you think it as weakness because you were betrayed. So it's necessary to know whom to trust.
I have so many bad habits too, but trusting someone easily isn't one of them that's why i can't understand how it feels to get hurt from someone whom you trusted.
Well you're a rich person don't care about the amount🤣🤣 but be careful for the next time
