Number of vehicles doesn't make any difference

We live in a developed world, and compared to the past, many things have been developed that made our lives easier and more comfortable. The invention of the vehicle is one of the significant inventions that we use in our daily life. In the present time, thinking about life without any vehicle is very hard to imagine.

Vehicles help us to remove the distance between places and make our travel easier and faster. We can visit from one place to another place within a short time, but in the past, it was a big deal. Within a few hours, we can travel long distances, which was a matter of several days in the past. So a vehicle is very important if we want to save time, and we know that time is the most precious thing, which cannot be compared with anything.

It says that advantages and disadvantages come in pairs; it doesn't matter what the subject is. In the case of vehicles, it's also the same. Although there are many advantages of vehicles, there are some disadvantages also, and the most significant disadvantage is vehicles harm nature. There are various kinds of vehicles, but still, most of the vehicle's engines run on burning petrol, and it's a great source of carbon dioxide, and it's not eco-friendly. Fortunately, electric vehicles have already been invented, but still, those things are for super-rich people. So, the perspective is that the more vehicles we have, the more unfriendly it is for nature because vehicles continuously release carbon dioxide by burning petrol.

Using public transport can be the best thing if we want to protect our nature. Unfortunately, public transport also has many disadvantages, including security issues, although it's cost-effective. In my country, only rich people have vehicles, more specifically cars. Most of us can't afford to buy a car because it's too expensive, but all of us have the desire to travel from one place to another place comfortably. Naturally, it can be said that we have the desire to have a car, at least if we are capable of doing it.

Considering the carbon emissions and air pollution of daily life, if the government sets up a room where each family is allowed to buy one car only, will it be good? First of all, I think it's a totally illogical decision, and there is nothing to consider about it. Let me explain how.

Suppose my family has 17 members, and if I have only one car, then how will I travel to wake my family from one place to another place? In that case, I need to borrow the car from others otherwise, hire the vehicles for them. Show a similar amount of carbon emission will happen even if I'm allowed to buy only one car. Obviously, I'm not going somewhere on foot when the distance is far. If I use my only vehicle, I need to use it 3 times, and each time it needs to return to take back other family members, which means it needs to run more compared to if I have 3 vehicles, and it's not a good decision either. Moreover, it will cost me time also.

Again, I have several vehicles, but I have few family members. In that case, I will travel with others if I visit any place with one vehicle only; it doesn't matter which one I select to travel. So, I don't think there is an extra issue with carbon emissions or air pollution. So I just want to say that it doesn't matter how many vehicles we have it does not make any difference in the case of impacting nature. If I'm capable, then I will buy more if I'm not done, I need to be satisfied with one. If the government is really concerned about nature, I think private vehicles should be banned, and everyone will be forced to use public vehicles in that case.

The two sides have their advantages and their disadvantages.

Suppose my family has 17 members, and if I have only one car, then how will I travel to wake my family from one place to another place?

Just imagine this situation... and the family has the money to buy as many car as they want. It's a problem

You have a point, it won't do anything to reduce the carbon footprint because the same number of cars will still be on the road. And we'll just have some cars doing more work than necessary.

Public transport also emits the same amount of carbon then why not having our own vehicle at home but you are right too that only few people have cars who are rich while everyone has motor bikes

I love how you used the word "illogical decision" and that's the perfect word to describe such idea. Take for instance your example of a family with 17 members, how do they manage one car? That will definitely be inconvenient and uncomfortable. And yes, the government mustn't just make a decision and not take a step to stand on it. If private cars should be banned, they should with all seriousness.
