Extended holiday

Holidays are the most awaited for most of us as they allow us to spend time how we want. December is a favorite month for many people because they can plan to spend quality time with family and relax. So most of us want the holiday not to end, but nobody can hold the time, and we need to go back to the normal schedule again after the holiday.

At the current time, I am in the ending phase (maybe 1 more year remaining) of my student life, and I am not doing any kind of office job. The source of my earnings is online earning and teaching as a private tutor. When it comes to online earnings, there are no holidays for me because it's 24/7 available for me unless I get disconnected from the internet connectivity.

As a student in December, there is a week's holiday for the winter vacation. Christmas is not celebrated in my country, and for that, we have only one day off, and it is also included in the winter vacation. Naturally, the academic year is before the end of December, and students don't have any study pressure for it, and so the winter vacation holiday seems pointless to many students, but again for university students, it matters because it's not necessary to the end of the academic year, and it is dependent on the university.

From the perspective of a private home tutor, it's also vacation time, as in the time students remain busy with their own plans as their academic year ends and they finish their exams.

Time is the most precious, and managing time is the most important thing for me. I can't take a break from the online space, but the holiday allowed me more time to manage everything as I didn't need to attend university class, and I don't need to spend time teaching my students also. So, I had a good amount of time during the holidays. I could sleep well, enjoy dramas and animes, and spend more time with my family members. This time I didn't go outside of home as I have some tasks to do, and I am preparing for it. Moreover, my sister's 2nd year (honors) will start on the 2nd of January, and so this time we didn't go to the village in December. So this time holiday was not so special for me.

The holiday of winter vacation ended already 2 days ago, but most of the students of my department are not ready to attend class before the new year. So, we all decided to extend our holidays for some more days, and in this case, our professors can't do anything, as all students are united in this matter, and we have the excuse to defend ourselves. After all, we are not kids to be controlled by the professors unless it's related to the thesis😅. So, I am still considering the current time as a holiday. I think from January 2nd or 3rd, all the students will be back at the university, and our classes will start on a normal schedule.

I think I am not looking forward to doing anything except starting to work on my thesis paper. I just hope that I will start working on it and collect field data related to the thesis, and I am working on how to start, as I still need more information and guidance to collect accurate data.
