The need of smartphones for students is nothing to explain because smartphones allow students to access all the updated information through the help of the internet. A student can easily get all the data required for study from the internet.

After learning lessons, students can attend online tests that can help to improve the quality of students. If there is anything students don't understand, they can search for it online. There must be lots of videos that are capable enough to explain everything. It is so helpful that students don't need a private tutor.

There are thousands of techniques in online that are helpful to study. Additionally, in recent times the development of AI is so impressive that it has become more friendly for study. I think with the help of AI, students can learn the lesson easily with minimal effort, and it's a win-win situation for students. All the advantages I mentioned here are very good for students, but for that, allowing smartphones in school is not necessary because the use of smartphones at home is enough for that.

Let's talk about the disadvantages. The majority of students don't like to study and try to escape from it. So, that's the reason most of the students want to do everything except study. Allowing students to bring smartphones to school means giving them the opportunity to escape from their studies. Students may use the smartphone rather than focusing on lectures. Students will be distracted from their studies, and it will impact their careers.

If we allow smartphones in during the test time, I don't think it can bring any good output at the current time. It may increase the chances of cheating in exams. In fact, now many students try to do so even if it's prohibited. In such a situation judging the student's quality and skills will be impossible.

I just feel at the current time, most of the students are not mature enough to understand what's most important to them. For immature students, allowing smartphones in schools is nothing more than bringing a disaster for the future. Instead of it's not allowed in school, most student's performances are affected by the excessive use of smartphones, and if it is allowed, what will happen is hard to predict. So, right now, I am against allowing smartphones in school.

Some people say that if we allow smartphones in school, it will hamper creativity. I think their thoughts are not right, although it applies to the present time. We can blame the traditional education system. I think we need a change in the education system, and in such a system, lessons should be different from the current time. Suppose we give a task to a group of students to do a project, and they are allowed to access the internet, but the project should be creative. I am sure students will do the task happily even if they know nothing about how to write a research project. I think our education system should be developed enough to force students to be creative even if students can access the internet. We need to keep in mind that AI and the internet can provide all the solutions. We can use the scope to force the students to be creative.
