Charity should not be stopped

Humans are known as the best creatures in this world, and from various perspectives, it can be understandable. They have all the best qualities, but at the same time, they also have the worst qualities. Changes in humans in recent times are clearly noticeable. With time, humans became very greedy, and for the sake of making money, they can go to an extreme level, as we can see in much news.

Good and bad qualities coexist, and kindness is one of the qualities that make us better. Because of kindness, we treat others better, and we try to do something good for others. Charity is another face of kindness. Every human is equal by right, but from a financial perspective, there are differences. Some are poor and some are rich. So if the rich people try to help the poor, it's a good act, and it deserves appreciation. In the present time, there are many charity organizations that help the poor and those who need help. People can send money to the charity organizations, and those organizations promise to help those people who deserve it the most. It is the easiest way to help others.

But at the same time, there are a few things to be concerned about. In the present world, trust in others is really difficult, even if it's a well-known charity organization. There are some organizations that have scammed people out of their money. 1 year ago, during the time of the climate disaster, many areas were flooded and went underwater. Many people were affected because of it, and almost all of the charity organizations decided to help people by providing food and other necessary basic things. Almost all of the people of my country send money to every known charity organization based on their capability. The majority of those organizations showed transparency through documents. But there were a few organizations that had actually stolen the money from people by the name of charity. So it is very necessary to understand where to donate the money because donating in the wrong place means allowing them to steal our money.

How to verify that? Let me share what the thing I consider before donating to such an organization. The first thing I consider is the popularity of an organization. There is always some reason behind getting a charity organization popular. Most of the time, those organizations become popular because of their good work. The second thing is the transparency. I check the previous or earlier activities of an organization before donating. As far as I know, most of the charity organizations show the truth and try to be transparent, and it is necessary to win the trust of more people. If there is no way to assess an organization's transparency, it's better to avoid donating to it. Is there a difficulty in understanding which one to trust? That is a possible solution that can reduce the risk. I think in that case I will choose to divide my funds and send them to different organizations. In that case, the possibility of automatically sending all the funds to the scammer decreases.

I know that it hurts to trust people in the present time, but lack of trust should not be a restriction on the way of kindness or charity work. There are good people in this world, like the bad people, and at least for them, we should try to donate even if we cannot ensure the funds are going to be used for a better purpose. But I believe that most of the time, there is a way to understand which one is worthy of trust.
