Automated Cars are not for my country

Today's world is like a magical world, and everything became possible with the help of advanced technology. Advance technology is scientific, but it's not less than magic. 30-40 years of difference can be enough to understand how magical science can be.

Advance technology is continuously trying to make our lives easier and more comfortable, and it's a continuous process that will remain the same in the future also. Technology is so developed that now we don't need humans to operate many tasks because, based on software programs, many things can be controlled. Robots and self-driving cars are both simple examples of it.

A self-driving car or auto-driving car is a very much possible thing, and as well as I know, such kinds of cars have already been made (correct me if I am wrong). Everything that comes to us in pairs means having both advantages and disadvantages. And those things can be very based on location and economic condition.

Self-driving cars don't need a driver, and anyone can use it if they know how to give commands, as it's controlled by software. In the case of driving skills, I think software can do it better than humans without making any mistakes, and it is helpful to reduce the accident, and in that case there will be no violation of traffic rules if everyone uses automated cars.

The first disadvantage of an automatic car is that it's very costly, and I think very few people are capable enough to buy such a car. Moreover, the servicing price is extremely high if something happens to the car. The road condition matters a lot, and it's not suitable in such a country where the road condition is not so good. In fact, it increases the possibility of accidents. For silly mistakes of programs, a lot of accidents can happen, and many people may lose their lives. The biggest threat is that what if it's hacked by others. Moreover, designing such a kind of software is very difficult because various kinds of situations can happen, and there are a lot of assumptions needed to develop software for cars.

My country belongs to a developing country, and the economic condition is not so good. So from a cost perspective, buying a self-driving car is not effective. In terms of road condition, it's moderately ok but not good enough for a self-driving car. Considering the overall situation, I think buying such a car is not worthy.

Besides, I think if anyone buys such a car in my country, it will not be a good choice because the remaining car on the road will not be a self-driving car. So few self-driving cars can bring no benefits.

Automated cars can give very good results in the developed countries where road facilities are quite good and people naturally follow rules.
