Some of the friends go a long way in forming part of our lives on a daily basis, while some people we don't wish to have something intimate with because of the way we have perceived them to be.In as much as we use the opportunity that the internet has given us to make friends who have similar goings-on with us, some people have taken the opportunity to rob others of their hard-earned resources.
On several occasions I have seen people who met on socials and they ended up meeting in real life and some of them end up as soulmates.The negative experience we have with digital relationships outweighs the positive ones. Just last month a friend I also met online was lamenting about a friend she met online who ended up robbing her of her hard-earned $100. When I heard of how it all happened, I was about to put blame on the lady, and on a second thought, I felt that this guy that robbed her proved to be sincere for a long time, and when he had gained her trust, he deployed his arsenal.
Imagine he claimed to be a trader and encouraged her to give him some money to trade for her for two weeks, and those weeks turned to months now, and he finally blocked her.Building healthy and maintaining relationships with those we meet on a daily basis, it is important to note that it is important to bring the physical life online. I say this to mean we should have the mind that the same principles we allow to govern our daily life should guide our online life; if not, we will come to a time that we will realize that we are doing all just to please people while we displease ourselves.
Also, it is good that when it comes to trusting with finances, we shouldn't release what we can't part with because if we do, we will end up hurting ourselves in many ways. Not minding who is involved, building a healthy relationship is very important because we may end up just doing things that will make people happy while we displease ourselves. I believe the world is small, and anyone we met online can be traced to a particular location or place of origin.
