Making journey's is part of my hobbies because it affords me the privilege to get to know new places and meet new people.
Before I got married hardly a month will pass without me traveling to another state, I got so used to it that I feel somehow when I don't get to make a journey. There was this story about Ajala the traveler, I didn't know much about it but most times Yaroba people refers to someone who embarks in much journey to Ajala.
There is this program that we normally attend since I got married with my husband organized by pastors children. For over five years since I got married I always look forward to August to come because it is sort of home coming to all the clergy children.
This year's event took place at Mararaba not too far from Abuja, as it was break time for the school children I traveled with all of them though it wasn't easy because most times children will not allow one have the best of his time cos you have to also attend to their needs
The experience from this particular journey was so glorious as we felt that it should not come to an end. Our host Pastor gave a good reception more than what we expected, we hard much to eat and to spare. There was different teachings which is geared towards helping the clergy children work in line with God's calling for them and also support their parents ministry.
Mararaba is a very big city in Nasarawa State, if I want to compare it with my place I will say it is an Urban region while mine is a rural area. The cost of things there are just on the high side but the visible difference is that business is flowing to compare with my place. To be sincere, I wish I could relocate to that area because I feel o could access more opportunities there. As I said earlier the living standard of that area is so high so it will take more hustling to live a good live there.
Looking at the cost of education where I am presently and there, I noticed that it is more than 500% and more. My resolution is just to manage what I have at the moment as I which for change too. One other thing that attracted me there is their system of light which is some worth better than what I have here.
One thing that needs to be changed is their road system. Not only that the road network is poorly arranged but the road is bad. Kai, the bad road and the traffic jam can be so discouraging. Because we missed the U-Turn we hard to travel for a long distance again before we could return to the correct road. Many cars gets damaged on that road, I could remember one particular car that the Bumper removed I was just imaging how much he was going to spend in fixing that vehicle.
The program we went for last August is one that takes place every year so I am gladly looking forward to next year's event as it offers me the privilege to meet with other Pastors children.
