Functions of Skeleton

⚫▪️The skeleton provides support to the body .it allows us to stand upright and move around.Without a skeleton ,the would be like a floppy mass of organs, skin and muscles.
⚫▪️skeleton protects soft internal organs from injuries. For example the rib cage surrounds the heart and lungs ,and the skull protects the brain.
⚫▪️The skeleton facilitates movement through joints and attachment to muscles
⚫▪️Bones store fats and minerals such as calcium and phosphorus.Rhse minerals released into blood as the body needs.
Bones also contain bone marrow which produces blood cells .Blood cells are important for the body's immune system.
