We all are become so busy that we do not have the time for our loved once, the life is so fast and is full of distractions. Mostly we all a re busy with our phones, we love to listen to the unknown people on internet without verifying the news the delivery or the without any authentication of facts they are sharing on social media. Many people just blindly believe them and also shared with others. It's very funny we try to connect to the others unknown form internet and also listen to them but we are busy when our kids or parents asked us to spare some time for them. We are full of items around us that distracted us like anything. It becomes very hard to find someone who is very good listener. We all are speaker most of the time, in my office also in any discussion if you are not speaking and just listening that means you are not interested or responding and if someone just give his opinion on meters that even do not form their scope of work, they are active member. I can easily find many such persons in my team and office also. So some time listening is also give bad impression but I believe a good listener observed the things very accurately and understand the statement or topic they are listening too. The communication is two way thing, a effective communication happened only when the speaker able to convey their thoughts and the other persons on receiving end also listen to them and understand it properly. What do you think of a room full of speaker and no one listening to others, it's completely a mess. I am a good listener but only when I want to be.
A good listening power is also a gift by God and not each person has this capability. To good listener also has a calm mind because a calm mind you do not able to concentrate. Concentration is another quality of a good listener. They can focus more efficiently as compared to others how are lacking the ability of listening. In our home, misunderstanding between the couple many time leads to fight between them and the misunderstanding can be cleared in a minute if any of them try to understand and listen to the view point of other person. In a similar way the current generation kids so not listen to the parents. We want to talk to others but the major part missing is that we do not wat to listen to others. Their is difference between listening and hearing and now days most of the time we are hearing not listening. Hearing is easy as you do not need any efforts but listening is work of patient and its form the inside. Think of a scenario when some one known to you share their story which is full of sorrows and difficulties they are facing, and on the other hand you are just hearing what they are saying and our mind is still thing of other things like work, family or anything else.
Its not like people always not listening to others knowingly, many time unknowingly also we are doing it, for example for some reason we are working on something very urgent and that that time someone else come to us and start sharing their life stores and difficulties they are facing. At that time our main concentration is always on the work we are already doing. Inn such situations people mostly hared what other says as listening is difficult.
