There is nothing better than a good life and ease of stress, if I had the opportunity to buy a self-driving car yes I would go for the option because there are some advantages of using this car which I would be sharing with us all.
The advantages of having a self-driving car
Firstly this method will relieve me from the stress of driving, I learned that driving is very stressful, driving yourself around the town can be so exhausting and tiring, so getting a self-driving car would be better because it will be so convenient and it is a way of relaxing while driving.
Also in terms of Safety, this will be safe because it will be an Advanced sensor and AI can detect, it can also respond to hazards better than humans, any issue will be directly corrected rather than going to the company to correct any parts of the car, having this would also save unnecessary spending.
In the aspect of accessibility, everyone will be able to access it be it an elderly person or disabled people, this would be a lifesaver option for them and anyone who always finds it difficult to learn how to drive.
The disadvantages of having a self-driving car
One of the biggest challenges is my country, I'm in a country where the roads are bad, potholes and the like, how can such cars function in this type of area, we have some areas in my country where they can enjoy things like this but my area is not among, the kind of potholes in my area can swallow the car itself, all the bad roads are due to the big trucks moving on the same road, no other options for them, also most engineering making the roads do not use good material because of the own greediness and this makes the roads to come back to the formal stage after a year of repairing it.
Also, I believe the accident will be fatal because someone will not know how to control it when it is moving in the wrong direction unlike other cars you can easily march the brake and stop the car, so it will be difficult in this type of car but if there is a way to control it then there will be no problem.
If there should be an accident then the company who made the car should be the one to blame, that means they didn't do their research and test the car properly, and they want to endanger people's lives by producing such a car, we know it can be so convenient but there must be a way to save people's life as well, the company who produces such car should be sue if the accident is fatal.
People who promote such cars should also be to blame, they are supposed to know what they are marketing, they shouldn't prioritize their pocket over people's lives, and the government should take proper action if there is an issue that can endanger people's lives, everything must have been properly checked before the company can sell it out to others.

I agreed with you ma'am, despite the fact the the car ease people's stress it also endanger people's lives on the road, like you say if the car is heading to a wrong direction you won't be able to control it because the car is an artificial intelligence car and have been programmed.
It is no doubt that a self driving car have a lot of advantages especially relieving stress and assisting those with disabilities to move around. The issue is, the functionality of a self driving car is dependent on how conducive the environment is and the sad truth is the manufacturers can never be aware of all kind of environments.
