So last week I attended a wedding party and I had this funny and wooing experience. I've been attending weddings since childhood but I have never seen such a wedding before.

One thing I do notice about weddings is that the couples are always in a hurry to go after the wedding. It is a normal thing here in Nigeria. I don't know about other places. So last week we added this wedding in my church and both couples are from Yoruba, if you are from Nigeria and have watched any Yoruba wedding you will know that these people do their own things differently, from their outfit to the music they play especially during the reception. Good food and big meat is not left in any Yoruba wedding, in fact they are known for spending money to make food during their ceremonies
What really happened in this party was after the wedding, we moved to the reception venue and had some good time until the weather change and was blowing heavy wind, funny the wind pull down the canopies and people were running up and down, the rain disrupt this weeding to the point of finishing, everyone was hurry to go immediately after the rain stops people started going.
I was surprised when I went back to the reception hall to pick something I forgot low and behold the couples sitting down and gisting, ahh, I have never seen such in my life before, normally the couples use to hurry so they can go home and rest, have fun and proper travel for their honeymoon, bit this one's were just sitting down very comfortable gisting and laughing, I was so amazed to see them it's was something surprising to me that people can actually calm down like this even in the day if their wedding. It was funny to see them that way but I learnt something which is patience and that there is nothing in this life that we should be in a hurry about.
Another one I won't forget in a hurry was a worship service I attended that eventually turned to a proposal party, I was invited to a worship service program, it happens to be a time where youth come together to worship God, and one of the best single was proposed to my his boyfriend while singing on stage and she said yes, boom we didn't worship God again, drinks were shared with small chops and a soft music in the background, everyone was happy, smiling and taking pictures, I was also carried away not until I got home when my parents asked me how as the service boom I realized I actually went for a worship service and it turns out to a proposal party.
To me , I just conclude that people can be changed and also can also turn out to be something different from what it was made for.
