Because for a person like me now that doesn't play games. You really do not expect me to connect more with gamers or people that talk about sports. I won't be able to engage well with their content because I really do not have an idea of what they do.
That's the more reason why it's very essential to know the kind of people you want to roll with. Have a target, go for it, and spread the good vibe all over the blockchain.
• Using the right tags: This is another important factor that any new user should take notice of more. Using relevant tags can help increase your visibility and attract the right audience to your content.
Don't be like me when I joined the Hive blockchain. I used to go through top bloggers posts and copy the tags they used, which isn't the right thing to do. As a newbie, I had no idea that it was a wrong thing to do.
I always thought about it all in my head that it had a way of attracting good upvotes from top curators and never knew it could even get my post downvoted for attracting the wrong people to my post.
• Engaging with others: This is another important factor that helps you connect with people from all over the globe and also build relationships with them. This part is one of the most exciting things I love about the blockchain.
Imagine gaining visibility with someone from another country or state you've not even been to. For me, I consider it a plus in the sense that, whenever I come around to a place where I have a connection with someone, I always try everything possible to meet up with them and have a good time.
We could just explore the whole axis, have fun, and get to know each other more and more. Which sounds so cool to me if you ask me. And it doesn't just end there; you also get to engage on each other's posts and also build a bond.
At least I know of some of my friends who got to meet their soulmate through this amazing platform, Hive. It's a good thing to behold. It just has a way of helping you build relationships and increase your visibility on the platform.
• Engaging in community activities: It's very essential to join communities related to your niche and participate in activities such as contests and discussions. We've got a lot of amazing communities. You're definitely going to come across one you love so much if you cross-check.
Are you writing or participating in what is trending in that community? One of the things I have got to understand better is that the more you engage with trending things in a community, the higher chance you actually get for people to notice your post as well.
