Study and work has now become a part and parcel of almost all students in Nigeria (not all because, some students are very fortunate to be given birth to with silver spoon and have all their needs and wants sorted out even before they ask), and I can can to some point say even globally most students work and study.
Forgive my manner, most students "study and work" not "work and study", because they are entirely two different things.
Study is the primary and core reason most of us are in school (most and not all, some are not all about the school but other aims and reasons, this would be a topic for another day not today), and work is something we do to help support our studies and sustain our day to day activities in school.
How did you cope with the stress??
I would like to change the question to "how are you coping with the stress?" The stress on a scale of 1-10, should be on 10 because it both (school and study) requires "your all". The stress is not something to smile about, but since it does the needful and helps buy handouts, put food on the table, pay for transportation, buys data, buy some necessities, pays up the bills and sometimes gives you something to save up, then I can say the stress is worth every bit of it.

So this is going to be a quick one, I would not want to jump into giving you tips to do things, because I don't know what kind of work you want to mix with school. But be less scared for I have got you covered with some general tips that might help you through till when you know what works and what doesn't.
Determination, time management, being optimistic, know your strength, know weakness too, and most of all put God first in all you do, eat well to stay healthy and also as a quick reminder don't ever find pleasure in the pain of someone no matter who it is.
Least I forget, take everything you do seriously, make education your priority for it is the primary reason you are schooling and be of good heart, value your customers and do treat them equally.
