⭐Creative- Sunday: Garlic Spinach and Mushroom Medley Recipe⭐

This week, for Creative Sunday, I’m excited to share one of my favorite recipes—Garlic Spinach Mushroom. It’s a simple yet flavorful dish that never fails to impress. My husband absolutely adores mushrooms, and this recipe combines the earthy taste of mushrooms with the freshness of spinach and the rich aroma of garlic.

Not only is this dish incredibly delicious, but it’s also packed with nutrients. Mushrooms are a great source of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, while spinach adds a boost of iron and fiber. Together, they create a perfect balance of health and taste, making this recipe a regular on our dining table.

Garlic Spinach Mushroom Recipe

Ingredients:

200g fresh mushrooms (washed and chopped)

1 bunch spinach (washed, blanched, and finely chopped)

10 garlic cloves (finely chopped)

1 medium onion (finely chopped)

1 tsp ginger (grated)

2 tbsp butter or oil

1 teaspoon chilly flakes

Salt to taste

Method:

🍀 Prepare the Spinach and Mushrooms:

Begin by washing the spinach thoroughly to remove any dirt. Blanch it in hot water for 2-3 minutes, then transfer it to cold water. Once cooled, chop it finely.

Wash and chop the mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.

🍀 Sauté Garlic and Onions:

Heat butter in a pan and add the finely chopped garlic. Sauté until fragrant and golden brown.

Add the chopped onion and grated ginger, and cook until the onions turn soft and translucent.

🍀 Cook the Mushrooms:

Add the chopped mushrooms to the pan and sauté them until they release water and soften. Add chilly flakes.

🍀 Add Spinach:

Once the mushrooms are cooked, add the chopped spinach to the pan. Mix well and let everything cook together for 3-4 minutes.

🍀 Season and Serve:

Add salt to taste and give it a final stir.

What I love most about this recipe is its versatility. You can serve it as a side dish with roti, paratha, or rice, or even use it as a topping for toast or pasta. The buttery garlic flavor, combined with the tender mushrooms and vibrant spinach, makes this dish comforting and satisfying.

This recipe has become a family favorite, and every time I prepare it, the warm, garlicky aroma fills the house, instantly making everyone hungry. I hope you enjoy this dish as much as my family does!
