This prompt actually made me go down the memory lane and I laughed so hard at myself. I was in my fangirl era for some time because a particular celebrity put me there, lol. She is a nollywood actress, but she's becoming much more than that now. You know that feeling when you just love a person for everything that they stand for? That was it for me. It wasn't about her acting skills, or her looks, or how she speaks or sings. I just really really loved her. I still do, I am just more mature about it now🙃.
Her name is Bukunmi Oluwashina and she hails from Ekiti state, in the southwestern part of Nigeria. She is so beautiful, talented and very brilliant too. She is an amazing scriptwriter and a very talented songwriter and musician. When I saw her movie for the very first time, I fell in love with her and I was following her updates back to back. The story was so perfect in all ways, despite having just few casts. She sings as well and you should trust me to have my phone filled with all of her songs. I could sing them from the beginning till the very end, of course. I loved her so much, and everyone around me knew it. Some people even started really liking her because of how much I post and talk about her.

I love her realness, simplicity and brilliancy so much, she is literally one of the really inspiring Nigerian women I know. She has a beautiful family now; she, her husband and a beautiful baby girl. She just produced a movie titled 'Black and White', which will be out soon, and I am really looking forward to it. It does seem like a masterpiece already, she never disappoints. Her journey inspires me so much, the way she struggled to become relevant through her own hardwork, despite the way the industry is.
There was a time I saw her in person, before she became very famous. She came to my neighborhood with her friend and someone informed my brother, who ran home to inform me. I rushed down to the place but I couldn't go and meet her. Why? I was shyyy😂😭😭 I really wish I swallowed my shyness that day though. I was just looking at her from afar and it was my brother and his friend that went to meet her and requested for her number, which I collected from them of course😂. I think I called and once or twice and we spoke, but then, she would think it was just a random fan😩😩.
Her fan base grew rapidly and there were a lot of communities and groups established in her name, it was almost impossible for her to even know that one girl exists in one corner of the world, that admires her very much. That's totally fine though, she'll still get to know me and her growth was really beautiful to see. Maybe we'll still meet later in the future and might even sign some business deals together, innit?🤭🤭
