Good day amazing people of hive block chain welcome back to my blog is an edition in #hivelearners community topic Anti-democracy.
Democracy is the major problem my country is facing my country democracy have frustrate it citizens when i was in secondary school my teacher taught that democracy is government of the people by the people and for the people but looking at the way things are going in the country i think democracy is no longer for the people again it is for a particular set of people who embezzle the national resources and enrich there self and there household living the poor citizens to suffer.
Things that is wrong with democracy in my country.
Leader: our leaders are the major problem we are have in our country the don’t care about the citizens all the do is to enrich there self the main aim of have a leader in a country is for the leader to foresee the affair of the citizens but in my country is the order way around the will come out during there campaign and promise us this and that the moment the won the election none of there promises will be fulfilled. How can a resource that is meant to make the country better only one person is enjoying it the funny thing is that the save the money even for there fifth generation.
Rigging of election: i come from a country that practice franchise which is everyone have right to vote and be voted for but rigging of election is the order of the day at the end of the election the will put people that the think should rule us at a point i was discussion with my friend i don’t see the reason why my country still practice franchise is not better we stop voting since our vote don’t count what is the need of standing in the sun voting at the end the will give the position to someone the like.
You see this thing the call Godfather it have really dealt with us before a leader leave his sit he will look for someone to fix there before he will leave that position not minding if the person is capable of leading the citizens.
Currently the frustration we are facing in my country is really alarming how can a country that is bless with natural resources be suffering the democracy in my country is not trying at all the poor masses are really suffering.
Some of the measure that will help to stop Anti democracy
Before anything can work well in our country the corruption leaders should step if the do the country will be a better place since democracy is for the people by the people and for the people all we need is someone who have the interest of it citizens with this the country will be safe for the citizens.
Corruption is the main thing we should fight in our country because corruption and bribery are the major things that spoiled our democracy system.

In Nigeria, the concept of democracy is mere words on paper. How are we practicing democracy when people are not allowed to vote freely?
