Good day and happy beautiful week, amazing people of hive block chain, welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #hivelearners community, and I am so delighted to be participating in this week's prompt topic: a smart student. When it comes to students, there are some who are smart ones you teach and will learn immediately; there are some that take time to grab.
Is it no longer a new thing that technology is advancing and the world is really singing praise of the development of technology? In my opinion, I think the majority of the education system is lacking in this advancement of technology.
Last month i was cleaning my parents room i came across my mom note book i decided to check it to my greatest surprise majority of the things that the taught my mom i also learnt it in my secondary school i was so surprised that the school curriculum is still the same. It is not all about going to school; our education system needs to prepare us for real life. The education system has passed the stage of using only theory to teach the students. There are so many students who are not going in theory, but when it comes to practical, they are going. This is the main reason why my country's education system still remains the same: I believe in theory more than practical.
When I was in university, there was this mathematics that would always tell us to find x. When I graduated from the high institution, I got to realise that I wasted my time in the university because those find x were not needed at this point. I had to buy extra money to acquire that knowledge that I didn’t get in the high institution. I was now asking myself, What is the need of going to university? At the end, you will still pay someone to teach you the practical part of what you studied.
No wonder the rich people always take their kids aboard because they just don’t believe in theory. They also allow the kids to do practical things, which is why they keep developing more than us. You will see kids in college construction on toys, etc., but here in my country, as far as you pass your exams, you are promoted to another class, and most times students buy their grade.
I believe it is time that our education system needs to advance. The education system needs to pass that stage where examinations and tests should determine if a child who is promoted to another class needs to think critically. It is the right time we let the students know that the problem solver. We should let them face the reality of life from the little I know. I know fully well that school exams have nothing to do with reality; the lecturer uses exam to test the students. The students need to go into the field and do some practical to have better knowledge of what they are doing.
There is this foreign movie I watched after seeing this movie about how the western education system is. I cry for my country's education system. Here you read to pass exams. After the exams, come back and ask that student the same question. He or she will be looking at your life as a as a Christmas goat.
The most painful part of it all is that parents give a lot of money to these schools. The way this school extorts money from parents is something else I always call this school daytime arm robbers:
It is high time you do more practical work than theory; we need to prepare these kids for the future. Students will do better if practical is introduced in the education system.

@cindynancy hola amiga muy interesante tu post y comparto totalmente tu opinión respecto a.la educación actual ya que todo sigue evolucionando y nosotros nos vamos adaptando pero lastimosamente el sistema educativo sigue igual de atrasado enseñandonos cosas que a la sirve es para saberla y no para ponerla en práctica.
